Team capture. Leads are stored on the Akamai server and are visible to the entire event team. Without a network connection, new leads are buffered locally on this device and synced automatically as soon as the connection is back.

1Event

Every lead is assigned automatically to the active event.

2Capture

Start the camera to capture a badge or business card

QR / vCard: if the badge or the card carries a code, it is detected automatically.
Photo + text recognition: best-effort reading of the printed text (name, company). Always check and correct the result – especially with small event badges, typing it in by hand is often the fastest way.

3Lead data

Required before saving. The timestamp is recorded automatically as proof.

  • Scan stays on the device: camera image and text recognition run entirely in the browser. A photo is never transmitted – only the checked form fields.
  • Data minimisation: only business contact details and conversation context are recorded.
  • Consent & proof: saving is only possible after active consent confirmation; the timestamp is set server-side and serves as proof (relevant among others for section 7 UWG when contacting by email later).
  • Access restriction: leads are stored on an access-protected Akamai server, visible only to signed-in team members. The CSV export is triggered exclusively by admins and downloads the file directly and encrypted (HTTPS) to the admin's device.
  • Data subject rights: access and deletion via the event owner; individual leads can be deleted directly in the list at any time.
